Namthip is fromthe Lahu ethnic group and is the youngest of three children. She is a talkative and playful child, and enjoys drawing as a hobby. Her favorite subject is science, and she loves playing volleyball. Her favorite color is purple. In the future, she wants to become a doctor so she can help others. Namthip has a chronic illness—gastritis—which prevents her from eating spicy food. The family migrated from Kaen Noi Village, Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai Province. The father has a chronic illness, making him unable to work and support the family. The family does not have official identification, so they rely on collecting and selling red ant eggs for income, but it is not enough to cover their expenses. Your support will provide Namthip a scholarship to help with school supplies and have the opportunity to continue her education.
