Manow (Naw Bu Ghay) was born stateless. She is a very dependable child. When her father is fishing for dinner she usually takes care of her baby sibling. She likes singing, dancing, and drawing. Her dream is to be a teacher when she grows up. Her family migrated from Myanmar to Thailand and they are currently living in a friend’s house. Naw Bu Ghay's mother often neglects the children and leaves them at home unattended and her father appears to take on the role of primary caregiver.
