Chotikarn is of Shan ethnicity. She is kind, cheerful, and friendly. She enjoys drawing, studying English, and playing volleyball.  Chotikarn’s dream is to become a doctor to help others. She lives with her 59-year-old grandmother, who works in an orange orchard. They live together in the orchard’s worker housing. Her parents work as painters in a different province and are unable to live with her. While they try to send money for their daughter, the family's total income remains very limited. To ensure she can continue her education and achieve a stable future, she is seeking a scholarship to help reduce the family's financial burden.
