Apa
's
story

Apa is from the Red Lahu tribe. His father suffered an accident that severed the tendons in his hand, leaving him unable to perform heavy physical labor. Consequently, his mother is the primary breadwinner, taking day labor jobs whenever available. The family is deeply in debt from village fund loans taken out for past needs. With an unstable and insufficient income, the family faces severe economic hardship. Apa is a quiet, peaceful, polite, and cheerful boy who smiles easily. In his free time, he likes crafting and making his own toys. At home, he helps his parents wash dishes. His favorite school subject is Thai language, and he loves playing football. In the future, he dreams of becoming a professional Takraw player. Your support will help Apa have an opportunity to remain in school for a better education and a better future.
