Amit and his older brother, Himansu, were abandoned by their father and their mother died a few years ago. Both boys live in a local church with a pastor caregiver. His father left them when Amit was only 6 years old and they have not seen him in over 5 years. Amit is a good student and is well behaved. His favorite subject is Nepali.
