Maria Eva lives with her grandmother, an aunt, and three young cousins. She is a migrant from Venezuela. They arrived in Colombia due to the precarious economic conditions they were suffering. Sometimes there was no food and they had to ask for help from relatives. Unfortunately, Maria Eva fell behind in her studies because teachers left Venezuela. Maria Eva and her family have felt welcomed in Colombia. She is studying and is now making good grades. Maria Eva aspires to be a lawyer and wants to defend the most volunerable people who do not have the means to assert their rights.
